Marian’s Recipe for a Complete Breakfast Meal 

For Prime Mom Marian Rivera, kernel corn is one of the main ingredients in a quick-prep dish she dubs as a complete breakfast meal for the family. Her Cheesy Corn Omelette is a fluffy serving of scrambled egg with milk, spiced up with tomatoes, onions, ham, cheese and kernel corn. Truly a pleasant dish that wakes your senses up with a burst of flavors and textures!

Cheesy Corn Omelette 

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can (425g) Mega Prime Whole Kernel Corn
  • 2 pcs. eggs
  • 30g grated cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Onion, diced
  • Ham, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a bowl, combine eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place a pan over medium heat. Pour oil. Fry diced onions and Mega Prime Whole Kernel Corn for about 2 minutes. Transfer onto a plate and set aside.
  3. Using the same pan, pour in egg and milk mixture. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
  4. After a minute, top egg with cooked onions and kernel corn, along with diced tomatoes, sliced ham, and grated cheese. Finally, fold your omelette. 
  5. Scoop your omelette onto a serving plate, and serve with a toast or hot pan de sal!
