Cheesy Corn Rolls
Feeling tired of the usual corn dish… steamed , grill and additional ingredient to our daily viand , wanted to eat crispy cheese sticks but also crave for some corn to eat so I decided to make a snack with a twist. Corn and cheese rolled to satisfy my craving and a new idea for merienda for our back to school kiddos….
1 can Mega Prime Golden Sweet Cream Style Corn
1 cup Quick Melt Cheese ,cut into strips
20 pcs. Spring roll wrappers , cut in half
Cooking oil for frying
😀 In a plate, lay the spring roll wrapper. Put a spoonful of Mega Prime Golden Sweet Cream style corn and strip of cheese.
Do not overfill wrappers to ensure quick cooking. Roll the logs as tight as possible to prevent grease from seeping in
😀 Heat the pan and add cooking oil.
Fry the wrapped corn and cheese in batches. Wait until the wrapper turn to golden brown.
😀 Drain on a wire rack set over a baking sheet or in a fine-mesh sieve set over a bowl to catch oil drips.
