by Mommy Pam
Can’t figure out what dish to cook with that slab of fish fillet? Getting tired of the usual fried fish? Here’s a quick, nutritious and delicious way of preparing a fish dish that would surely be a hit in your family meal!
When I served this dish to my kids, it took only a few minutes before the plate was wiped clean.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo fish fillet (cream dory or any white fish), thawed and sliced into 4 big pcs
1 tablespoon butter
1 medium-sized white onion, sliced
1 medium-sized tomato, sliced
1 large egg, beaten
1 can Mega Prime Kernel Corn
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
1. In a pan under low heat, melt the butter.
2. Put in the onions, tomato and corn. Sauté lightly.
3. Place the fish on top of the onions and tomato mixture. Add salt and/or pepper to taste. Leave under low fire until the fish is cook then flip it to cook its other side. Add more butter if needed to avoid drying up of sauce.
4. When the fish turns opaque, pour the beaten egg mixture over and mix slightly until cooked.
5. Serve and enjoy!
Servings: 3-4
Prep and Cooking time: 15-20 minutes
Cost of dish: P150
