Veggie Fried Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 medium carrot, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can MEGA PRIME GREEN PEAS 155g
  • 1 can MEGA PRIME PIECES AND STEMS MUSHROOM 425g
  • 1 can MEGA PRIME WHOLE KERNEL CORN 425g
  • 1 pack DONA MARIA JASPONICA WHITE RICE 300g, cooked according to instructions
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsps MEGA PRIME CHOICES OYSTER SAUCE
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sliced green onions for garnish

PROCEDURE

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a large skillet.
  2. Add the eggs and scramble until cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining butter into the pan. Saute onions and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add carrots, peas and corn and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add in the rice and continue to saute until ingredients are well-mixed.
  6. Add the eggs back to the pan and stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil. Cook for 1-2 minutes
  7. Sprinkle with green onions and serve hot.
