I can’t remember the last time i cooked Sweet Chili Shrimp or some times Butter Garlic Shrimp.
This is what i miss at Home. This is my moms specialty everytime we go home for a vacation in the province or when she visits us here in Manila. And since we can no longer travel with our current situation – Mom sent us This shrimps Fresh from Aklan.
The first thing i remember is my Mom’s Recipe.
Oh how i miss home.
So Here, i am sharing with you Our Quickest and the Simplest 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜 𝗦𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗣 na di pwede mawala sa handaan with our Secret Sweet Chili sauce we are using to make this FAVORITE dish even more EXTRA SPECIAL at mas lalong#PinaSARAP
1 1/2 kls. large size shrimp (rinsed)
1/8 cube cut butter (you may also margarine)
8 cloves of garlic (sliced)
1 small size ginger, (sliced)
2 cups Sprite
4 tbsp Mega Prime Sweet Chili Sauce
salt and black pepper (to taste)
How to Cook:
Melt butter in a sauce pan.
Sauté garlic in butter in a medium heat. Remove garlic and set aside first.
With the same Pan, Sauté ginger then
Add shrimp and mix well.
Add sprite, Let it Simmer for 3—5mins.
Season with salt and ground pepper.

Now its time to add the Mega Prime Sweet Chili Sauce.
Lower the heat to medium.
Keep on stirring so that our Chili sauce will cover the shrimps.
You may Now Remove from heat.
Transfer in a serving platter.
Top shrimp with the remaining sautéed garlic.
If you have Spring Onions..
You may also use some to garnish.
So that’s it.. It’s super simple and easy. Super Special nito sakin kasi isa to sa mga recipe na natutunan ko sa mama and surely will pass it on to my daughter’s too.
