Home Style Burger Steak

Simple and easy meal that your family will definitely enjoy. <3

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE BURGER PATTIES:

  • 1 lb ground beef not lean
  • 2 tbsp. onions minced finely
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 5 tbsp oil for frying

FOR THE MUSHROOM GRAVY:

  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 yellow onion minced
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 198g Mega Prime pieces and stems mushrooms
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

BURGER PATTIES:

  1. In a big bowl, combine ingredients for burger patty. Mix well to fully incorporate. Set aside in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.
  2. Heat cooking oil. Scoop around ½ cup of meat mixture and form into a patty. Pan fry in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved. Transfer on plates lined with paper towel to drain excess oil. Set aside.

MUSHROOM GRAVY:

  1. Heat up and melt butter in a saucepan in low fire. Once the butter starts to bubble up, add the cooking oil and onions and cook until soft. Add the mushrooms until golden brown. Pour on the cream of mushroom and a cup of water. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper to your desired taste.
  2. Serve prepared burger patties on top of steamed rice. Drizzle with gravy before serving.
