• Look Around​: For a start, pull out everything from your drawers and cabinets. Think about each item, and if you have used them recently. If the answer is yes, keep it. If you don’t even remember you have it, maybe it’s best to consider tossing or donating them.
• Do A Deep Clean​: Dust and wipe down every inch of the kitchen before you get into reorganizing stuff. Seeing everything cleaned up will make it easier for you when you’re reorganizing stuff in the kitchen.
• Zen Zones​: Before putting things back in order, consider making categories for similar items. Eating utensils, plates, bowls, glassware, and cutlery should ideally be placed near the sink or dishwasher. This prevents water from dripping everywhere when it’s time to wash the dishes. Cleaning materials should be kept under the sink, or somewhere else where they would not be in direct contact with food but still be easily accessible. Keep cooking tools and utensils (ladles, spatulas, pots, and pans, to name a few) near the cooking area. Having a spices and condiments rack nearby would also help in giving your food the flavor it needs without worrying about burning your food.
• Take Position​: It’s time to reorganize your kitchen! Keep items you use the most at eye level! Keep the dishes that you use for special occasions in an area that helps keep the dust away. Remember, the higher or further away you store your items, the less likely you will use them. Same goes for the cabinets and the pantry! Consider unloading pasta, rice, cereals, and baking goods from their original packaging into clear, labeled containers. Make sure to place glass jars and other canned goods like ​Mega Prime Canned Vegetables​ on sturdy shelves.
