Nutritious Drinks to Beat the Summer Heat

Wonderful morning mga Prime Moms! Who isn’t feeling the summer heat, right?

The heat index seems to get higher by the day.  Thankfully, there are ways to deal with it…like turning the air conditioner at full blast. On a more creative note, you can also whip up a ton of nutritious coolers that can help you cool down this summer.Papaya Banana SmoothieThis drink only takes around 2 minutes to prepare. 2 minutes well spent! Papaya is rich in Vitamin C which promotes immunity. Banana, on the other hand, is a good source of Potassium. Together, these fruits make a sweet and refreshing summer drink for the kids and the entire family. Aside from this, both are relatively to buy in your nearby supermarket.

Enjoy the creamy texture of papaya and banana enhanced even more with vanilla extract!


Dark Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Is your kid a fan of chocolate? Perhaps it’s time to introduce them to the wonderful world of dark chocolate. Of course, we don’t want to shock them with its bitter taste, so let’s mix it with something sweet. Banana is not only sweet, but as previously said, it is a good source of Potassium.

Lemon-Infused Water

It takes a little less than an hour to prepare starting with boiling agar agar in water for about 30-40 minutes.

This sweet refreshing drink boosts the traditional mais con yelo’s sweetness. It’s pink hue is perfect for the summer!

While this drink is delicious. Its corn content gives it fiber, which helps in regulating the body’s sugar and cholesterol levels.


Iced Ube

It’s sure hit for the kids because of its creamy and sweet nature! To add nutritional value to the drink, why not add some nata de coco?


You may also opt to add nata de coco to the other drinks for a nutrition boost.
